The Forest Hills Cat Hospital is celebrating its 40^th anniversary providing outstanding veterinary care. The Cat Hospital was opened in 1974 by Dr. Luger and was a revolutionary take on the small animal practice which was primarily canine-centric. Since that time, the feline-only practice concept has grown by leaps and bounds, but The Forest Hills Cat Hospital remains the longest lived feline-only practice under sole-proprietorship east of the Mississippi.

The Cat Hospital’s original location was, as the name implies, in Forest Hills on Austin Street, and moved to Glendale in the Atlas Mall in the mid-1990s before moving to its current facility in Middle Village in 2009. Though our location has changed, the location does not make the practice, it is our doctors, technicians, staff and most importantly our clients. It has been our pleasure to serve our clientele and provide world class veterinary care in our “No Bark Facility”.
